We are supposed to meet up with our cameraman n videoman soon to choose the backdrop for our studio shots and choose a concept for our video. I must say that I am very pleased with our choice of videographer and cameraman. We met and went through 5 different cameramans and their portfolios before we finally decided on this one. Their reputation preceeds them and they have been the photographer of choice for many celebrity weddings. Now they have moved on to commercial shoots (mainly for Mediacorp I think) but since we booked them like one year ago, they will still be covering our wedding. In fact they were the official photographers for the wedding of one hunky celebrity last year. Yes that one with his face plastered over all magazines for months n months on end and now acting in Malaysia!!!

The Don and I were very particular about our camera and video man because we have seen too many horror episodes. We want to make sure the memory of our wedding will not be spoilt by some amateur wanna-be. More importantly we don't want a soft porn production. I've had it up to here seeing pics of couples hugging and clinging and I especially can't stand seeing photos of couples on the bed. Especially the ones where the couple say bye bye to the camera and then a shot of the door being closed. Oh my gawd!!!!! So gross!!! Ooops I better not talk too soon I dun know how my photo and video is gonna turn out like yet. But I'm sure gonna tell them that I dun want such shots.


And the video guy suggested we give him our childhood photos so he can make a slideshow of it. We seriously have doubts about that, firstly coz we'd be sooo embarassed and secondly our pics are totally in antithesis. I was a super chubby baby while The DON was an ultra scrawny kid. It'll be like Laurel and Hardy personified!!! So NO WAY JOSE!!! (BTW we're both chubby now!!!!)

Well anyway the camera guy is gonna email me his latest backdrops so perhaps when I get them I will post them up here. So till then.....
